Everyone says with full confidence,
That a glass and a stone can never be
friends.
But this poem proves all of them wrong,
So make your friendship immortal and
strong!
On one fine Sunday and a pleasant
morning,
A glass and a stone on a hill were
roaming.
Both were the true and the best of
friends,
Loved each other more than a trend!
But the lovely nature was against them,
There came the heaviest rain and then
Everything became wet and muddy,
Both tried to protect their bestest
buddy!
The glass slipped, about to fall and
break,
The stone tried to help him with full
of sake.
But all went in despair and vain,
The glass shattered into pieces with
pain!
Look into their eyes, there was a spark
of love,
Their contribution was as pure as a
dove.
Said the glass, “You can’t be wrong as
I love you,
There must be something good in this,
especially for you!”
“I can’t live without you”, said the
stone,
My life is waste, don’t leave me alone.
I’m incomplete and nothing without you,
As I’ll never get such a true friend
like you!
The stone said, “I’ll also die,
So we both could meet in the heaven
high.”
The next moment the kind glass died,
And the stone with tears jumped from
the height!
With this sacrifice, ‘A Glass & A
Stone’,
Turned into ‘The Glass & The
Stone’.
Now, this is said to be the true
friendship,
And now it’s your chance to go and
prove it!
Wow! Impressive amount of work!
